OK..so this isn’t from officially a travel trip, but it shows that the sask Gypsy crew and friends aren’t above renting a floating boat (loaded I must add) to just “go to the city”
Short hike near BanffÂ
On the way home me and Dwayne decided to see if we could see some elk as they are in the rut and could be a spectacular sight..this is on the hiking path near the Banff golf course
Ram Creek Hot Spring
This gem was worth the 4.5 km hike to get to…this wasn’t one of my favorites, but since mother nature did some rearranging of the geological area this spring has become one of my favorites..much less crowded than Lucier.
There is 3 pools ranging from hot to swimming pool temperature.
And an “interesting” old hippie in the buff came to visit while we were there, whatever floats your boat, I guess!
Gold panning in the BC mountains
After a finding the Buhl hot springs, while my buddy Dwayne was still soaking, I decided to pull out the pans to try my luck..well I got a few small gold flakes and a whack of black sand..
The hold didnt pay for the trip but this was more for serenity than business!
